<p>Usually the dorms open at noonish Monday and rush begins at 5ish. The dorms do not open for the general student population until Wed, so they are giving you 2 extra days. You get basic stuff in, and for a few hours a day over the next few days you finish up the dorm room details. It has been that way for years, and is not likely to change this year.
