<p>hmm, are you sure, limabeans? i talked with an adcom when i went to the admissions office, and they said they make the best combination of scores, both from the act and sat. maybe it’s yale-specific? o.O</p>
<p>although a 34 isn’t too bad, there’s a world of difference between a 34 and a 35. i.e. the sat conversions are 2260 and 2360, respectively. </p>
<p>@pigs- i’m in the midwest. i honestly didn’t care to think about the sat till fall this year, since it really isn’t emphasized here. the act turnout on test days is six times greater than for the sat. i should have been more cautious, but i never liked the sat to begin with, and i honestly thought the act was on the same plane as the sat. suppose not. :(</p>
