Ap Chem is only offered 2nd and 3rd, and Ap physics is offered 3rd but with Ap chem that’s not doable. I’ve heard pretty great things about both teachers but majority of the people I have asked are just focusing on how it will affect me in the future. I want to apply to some top universities, and I know 3-4 years of Spanish can really help me standout (I do speak another language natively but idk if that helps). However, I will probably go into computer science for college so calculus does matter more for that. I do have an interest in premed and knowing Spanish would definitely help with taking care of patients if I go down the medical field. Because of Spanish 4, I’ll only be able to take 3 aps this year which makes me worried if my schedule doesn’t look rigorous enough as well. I have experience taking Spanish classes online since I’ve basically been teaching myself majority of Spanish but I don’t have that with math. Even though I’m skilled enough to be able to understand it by just doing homework I still easily get really bored with math which leads me to struggle. I’m afraid with taking it online. I do have more resources for pre calc online then in Spanish. The main thing is I’m only worried about my conversational skills in Spanish and I feel like just quitting as whole would just be a waste of time. I just don’t want to make a choice that will affect my grades though.
