Sports At UCSD

Yeah, really. Even if the Surrounding Area of La Jolla is very rigid, we still have The city of San Diego. That should be enough of a draw for students to go to UCSD. If we had a D1 football/basketball/baseball team, i dont think it would matter that La Jolla is boring, because we would have D-town San Diego, The beach, Tijuana, and then good sports teams to go watch, which would increase school spirit. Even though i have no idea what the hell water polo is, i’ll still go to some of the games. If the campus realizes that the student body is more interested in sports, they will realize they economic potential of moving to D1 for Basketball ,and maybe even start a football team. If they moved to D1 they could get some athletes on sccholarship aand we could have a very good team after 10 or so years. UCSD has everything a top tier school should have except school/spirit; popular sports teams, if we had sports teams, we would be much more popular and renown, and therefore would be more selective and considered more prestigious.
