And, @midnightgiles I would add that even if you find the “perfect” course in the course catalog of school XYZ, it may not be offered by the time you get there, be very limited in enrollment, etc. Hyper-focused or specific/niche course topics are often the pet projects (I don’t mean that pejoratively) of a specific teacher. They may leave. They may only offer it once every two years, which may not sync with your elective slots, etc.
