<p>Wow, that’s amazing. I’m always surprised at how early in the previous semester that registration starts for the NEXT semester! For the new Terps… registration dates are assigned in seniority order (# credits, which includes UMD earned credits, as well as transfer and/or AP credits). This is another time when your kid will appreciate those AP courses. It made a big difference with D1’s dates. After her first semester, the classes she wanted to take were always open (not always convenient, nor not always arranged so that there wasn’t overlap in the classes), but she didn’t have to worry about closed classes or waitlists.</p>
