<p>As long as you meet the GPA requirement and can explain why you had a rough academic time before, you should be good. Having a rising trend in grades as well as good EC’ are to your advantage. I was in somehow similar situation (not as extreme as yours), and I got into LAS with a 3.4, so I’m almost positive that if you keep up your work, you will get in too!</p>
