There’s no “accept” tab because Spring transfers don’t have to pay a deposit. We have a deadline to confirm registration in January. Also, we can get our new UT e-mail accounts at this link. Welcome to UTmail | UT Austin;

You will need to first upgrade your EID password with the tab on the status page. After that it’s just fill in the blanks to get the UT e-mail set up.

Also, if you live in Austin or will visit soon, you can drop by the Flawn Academic Center to get your UT ID card. It just took me about 5 minutes. I’m official now!!!

@imaswann thanks. Do we just show up for orientations in January then? Nothing to pay for ?(except tuition of course)
Do they just give us the id cards if we show up there? If that’s the case, I plan on going there on Monday.

My Buddy got into COLA Undeclared with a 3.8! He was an OOS student and he had a 3.8 with some rock solid essays and letters of recommendation. Good luck everyone! Decisions are slowly rolling out so I hope everyone gets in!

The waiting is destroying my patience. Is admissions handled by each department seperately or a general specific committee? I want to know if my application is taking longer because I am applying for CS.

Also, is it possible to get admission decisions on the weekends? or are they only on weekdays?

Accepted earlier this afternoon into COLA economics with a 3.3 GPA with 49 credit hours (as well as 29 from AP and CLEP credits) from an out-of-state private university, although I am a Texas resident.

Hey, Riceprincess. Yes! You go to the main floor of Flawn. In the middle is an IT desk. You give them your info, then wait a few minutes. Then you get your ID card. Sorry for the disjointed message. Celebrating in ATX!

Got accepted this afternoon to COLA Psychology with a 3.6 GPA, 2 LORs, solid essays, and a resume with 6 years of military/deployment experience and TONS of volunteering. I applied for Fall 2014 and was rejected with the SAME EXACT APPLICATION and was accepted this time around. I think spring might be a bit easier. Good luck to everyone left, and congrats to all of those that were accepted. HOOK 'EM!

I got in! Hook 'em Horns!

Yes, its hard to find. Here’s the link. You need to click on “transfer” and then “spring semester” in the first box. The page will change a bit, and you go down the page to “Spring Orientation FAQs.” Click on that link, and the registration link is at the bottom of that page. I’m not sure why they made such a simple task so difficult (!!?) http://deanofstudents.utexas.edu/nss/
