@pizzawhat
Yes, a letter sent through the mail. My transcripts were received mid-Oct. and I submitted my essay Oct. 31.
just found out i was waitlisted for FBM
@cmcarolinexo17
I was waitlisted for FBM as well. Do you plan on remaining on the waitlist?
I am thinking everyone who gets a decision letter from this point on is on the waitlist?
Hi guys, I am happy to inform that I just received my acceptance packet in mail. I have been accepted into the two year fashion design associates program. I live in Southern California. I have initially applied for the 1 year associates program but was asked by admissions a few weeeks ago if I would like to have them review it for the two years instead as I was not eligible. Y letter was dated November 29. So hopefully there are more acceptances to come. Good luck!!
@pizzaaa I told them I want to remain on the waitlist for now, but I’m going there tomorrow to speak with an admissions counselor about what they recommend i do
it’s the only school i want to attend
@cmcarolinexo17
Please let me know how that goes tomorrow
Hey everyone!
I live in NY state and haven’t heard. I sent my application/essay/transfer papers in October but applies for the 1 year AMC program. I didn’t know they needed my AP scores too before I was admitted( to count toward the 30 hours required for the 1 year). They just received those yesterday after I called and asked if anything was wrong with my app. Do you think they’d accept me to the 2 year program if I was a good candidate and just didn’t have the hours submitted on time for the 1 year?
Hi everyone,
I applied out of state for the AMC program. I finished my app in mid october and I have not heard anything yet! I’m hoping for good news this week
@pizzaaa they said the waitlist is really really long
Hey all, I was also waitlisted for the AMC 1Y associates but I was told that I need to pay the tuition deposit even though it doesn’t mean I was accepted. Did anyone else get this news?

Thanks for sharing
@frayzerbomb
No, they only told me that I was waitlisted, nothing else
are you guys planning on staying on the waitlist or applying for fall?
The application preference might change once the application is actually reviewed, but I would check with admissions just to be sure. And all majors at FIT are super competitive, especially if your major requires a portfolio. Its mostly first come first serve, so I always recommend people to get their applications in ASAP. Good luck to you all!
