Well, I’ve tried everything running my degree audit and I’m still not getting any of my courses to load. I hope this is not a bad sign; seems pretty discouraging to me, to be honest.

@Clintonwk @ImpatientUT I wouldn’t base much off of that though. I ran my first audit back in March and I still don’t have an answer, so I don’t think it’s necessarily related. So cheer up, and we’ll know for sure in about two weeks.
I’m really confused as to the importance of the degree audits ? Can someone explain what exactly that is or what it’s used for ?
@texas759 it shows what all your credits look like in UT’s system. If you’re admitted, it shows what your progress will be towards your degree and how many more hours/courses you need.
IDA is the interactive degree audit system for students pursuing degrees at UT Austin. Using IDA, you may request and view your degree audit online. IDA provides you with a report of your progress toward completion of the requirements for a specific program. If there have been any changes to your record since you last ran an audit, you must rerun an audit for those changes to be included in the audit.
But wouldn’t we only see the results of that after hearing an acceptance ? @Clintonwk @NosyParent16
@Prosper506 Did you receive your decision 5 days after your spring transcript was delivered to admissions or 5 days after it was updated in your MyStatus?
@texas759 from what I’ve seen on this thread, there are multiple people who haven’t been accepted yet who can see their audit in full.

So I found out that I didn’t get in for the Fall of 2016 (my major was biology/undeclared with 46 hours and a 3.75 gpa) … I’m applying for spring can i get some advice for the essays?

@collegegurl97 you know what they say - no news is good news. I’m one to think that it’s a good thing we haven’t been rejected yet. It means there is still a chance.
