I hope so. I have a question guys. I am just now reading about this $200.00 enrollment deposit. If I got the application fee waived due to financial need, would that then waive the $200.00 enrollment deposit? Or is there something I would need to fill out to ask for that. I wasn’t budgeting that so if I can’t get it waived, it will be a bit of a financial issue to get taken care of, and I’d seriously hate to not be able to go because of it. Any suggestions or advice?

Students who demonstrate financial need may qualify for assistance to cover the amount of the deposit.
@UTHopeful1986 nope. But I saw that one coming. I just found about this deposit the other day. No clue what I’m going to do if I get in.
@NosyParent16 I saw that on there, but it doesn’t explain any further. Like if I need to fill out anything to tell them I am going to need that, or if they just make that determination themselves. That’s why I was asking you guys to see if anyone has already gone through it or not. Thank you for your help.
@Clintonwk hopefully they will have an option for assistance ONCE WE get in… (Notice how I didn’t say IF) 
@Clintonwk I would just call them after you get in and say you can’t afford the deposit. Or you can maybe submit the special circumstances form if you have only recently been not been able to afford it. I can’t afford mine either.

I had less than 30 hours applying so I’m very surprised I heard back so quick, but I ended the year with a 3.74 from SMUand had 2 letters of rec and two strong essays with pretty average extracurriculars.

Anyone know how to upload high school transcripts?? I tried using the document upload system but it says I can’t upload it under “MISC admissions documents” but there are no other options besides social security change
@McCombsorbust are they only asking you because you are below 30hrs? Do we all have to send out hs transcripts?
My transcript was received 5/19 and my admissions page still says waiting on 30 hours. I have called and they said give it a week or so but friend transferring from the same school has already been accepted with her transcript being received the day after mine. Was curious if anyone knew how the sort through the transcripts is it by date or which college you applied to? Thanks!
To those wondering about enrollment deposit, It gets waived off once you accept the admission.

@mccombsorbust You will have to submit those transcripts in person at one of their admission centers.
@Newsie2015 You are required to submit an official high school transcript once you accept admission. It is not dependent on number of hours you have taken.
