Spring/Fall 2016 Transfer Thread

Calm down guys, you’re just overthinking. It probably doesn’t mean anything. I hope you all get in. Just 1 more week.

it’d definitely be interesting to hear the theories though not gonna lie :stuck_out_tongue:

so nervous…can’t sleep

00 and 02 worked for me

Err, I’ve already checked 3 times this morning! It’s going to be a long day!

either they are uploading stuff or their servers are bogged down from all of us reloading the pages :))

edit: annnnd, it finally loaded to in review.

Just tried logging into mystatus and got an “interal server error”. Is this happening to anyone else?

@SystemAddict what are your theories surrounding the numbers in the URL’s?
edit: just saw you say earlier you weren’t going to share them until you had collected more data. Could you message me? I’m really curious!!

People were coming up with these wild guesses about the URL last year as well. They didn’t mean anything back then. They likely still don’t mean anything now.

haters gonna hate :))

Good luck everyone. Hopefully we hear back within the next couple of days!

any news from Mccombs?

Didn’t get accepted into civil but did get in to UT COLA. Deciding on whether or not I should go to UT and try to internally transfer. What do y’all think of internal transfer, is it easier than external transfer?

any news of acceptance?

@EaglesThunder35 ohh ya internal is way easier. You can take easy UT classes and get good Gpa and apply. You can then make it up if you want to graduate on time by taking classes over summer. I recommend you go do internal transfer. But choice is yours. Btw I know many people dont directly apply to civil engineering they apply to aerospace which is easier to get in then they switch majors once they are in.

Knowing that internal transfer is easier makes me want to do that but I dont want to water a semester and then graduate later than expected

@EaglesThunder35 You will most likely will spend one more semester at UT then expected if you take courses over summer. I personally think its better to get in some college at UT then internal transfer because you have bright chances that way. Also I heard you can do like appeal thing and take engineering classes before while not being in cockrell but it can be hard. So whats your other option if you dont go to UT?

@EaglesThunder35 what were your stats?

Go back to UTSA but I live really close to UT and commuting is a huge plus instead of having to rent a apartment. Also I would rather spend an extra semester to graduate and graduate from UT than to save a semester and graduate from UTSA.

so im assuming nursing will release all their decisions at the same time? because i have yet to see anyone get accepted or denied as a transfer. kind of discouraging because this whole time i thought it was a good thing i was still in review…guess not :frowning:
