Congratulations to all of you guys who got accepted! I am going to try to transfer to UT for Fall 2017.
I was for sure that after 8 am, I’d see a decision!

im very discouraged right now, seems like most of the accepted decisions went out yesterday. Just checked a minute ago and im still in review 
do people also get accepted on the last day? lool
Don’t lose hope y’all. According to last year’s thread, a lot of people got decisions 1-2 days after the June 15th deadline.
Any CAP people still waiting on guaranteed majors?
Who here is waiting on COLA?
Just called admissions and he said they will be rolling out decisions throughout the day and into the next few days and that June 15th was just a date the school gave them as a general guideline.
I do not understand why they would drag it out this long for people who aren’t going to get accepted
I feel like there is a really good chance for people still waiting because if they wanted to flat out deny us they would have a while ago
I know this is a mini-rant but I’m really discouraged and also kind of angry. I had so much spirit and love for UT since I was a CAP student at UTA. Most of my friends have been admitted and I might be one of the only few Cockrell applicants left stranded without an answer. I’m reeeeallly freeeeeaaaakkingg tired of seeing ‘in review’. Now that I’ve been shoved aside and pretty much forgotten, I’m feeling really disappointed and bummed out. I have no hope towards Cockrell but since I am a CAP student, it doesn’t make sense that it takes them this long to give me my acceptance to COLA undeclared (my 2nd choice major). Besides, I’m already way past ‘upset’ - that was weeks ago. I’m straight up livid now.
I’ll give UT one more day. After that I have the right to be pissed beyond belief.
If anyone has been accepted into CNS for external transfer, please post your your stats including LORs, extracurriculars, GPA, etc. Please be as detailed as possible and congratz on your outstanding achievement!
@cherry018 at least you’re gauranteed a spot of admission and have the possibility of transferring internally. I’m guaranteed nothing and about to have excessive credits

So from looking at last years thread, some people were still getting accepted all the way up to June 24th. It sounds like admissions is trying their best to not let it drag out that long this year, but there should be a ton coming out today and tomorrow so let’s hope everyone gets some good news here soon.
@cherry018 I agree you’re lucky in the sense you have guaranteed admission !
I’m actually surprised that this thread is not blowing up with decision news today! I thought for sure I’d see lots of answers already. But on that same note, I’m also relieved sort of, to know that I’m not the only one stuck in review.
@cherry018 I’m in the same exact situation!! I’m also a CAP student from UTA and I did everything they wanted. I have a 4.0 with all the pre-reqs for cockrell. I feel like I’ve been ignored and just shoved to the side. But don’t lose hope UT is just as great as you thought it was when you decided to partake in the CAP program. It’s just REALLY frustrating that we don’t have out decision yet when other already do.
@parthp97 you have 4.0 thats really good and you should probably get in.
