Hey guys, i have a question about financial aid, do any of you know when you’ll be notified that your financial aid package is ready after getting an acceptance notification? Also it says i have to upgrade my ut eid, do i have to do that to get my financial aid? (I probably should ask this somewhere else haha sorry)

@blue1996 I think it’s a little different for everyone but I got mine a day or two after I was admitted. You ‘update’ you EID twice, once when you get accepted (I think you have to to get your aid package as well) and then a second time at orientation. You don’t need the 2nd update for certain loans (Fed loans) but if you get a perkins loan then you need the 2nd update to sign the promissory note.

FYI, there is the UT transfer FB page and then individual pages for the orientation dates
