I saw this on a different UT thread… UT is going to have the largest incoming Freshman class in their history. It seems as if they were prepared for it… so does that mean they made more room for transfers, or less room? gulp

@britni12 I’m so hopeful for a May response!! I don’t think I can be anything else but hopeful and checking MyStatus everyday hehe. I think a bigger Freshman class means less room for transfers, but I am not completely sure. It just seems that they would have less room for transfers. 
If someone else has more information though, don’t hesitate to chime in!
I saw that, pretty sure its due to the fact that they let in top 8% this year instead of top 7% but for whatever reason its definitely not good for us
I know I’ve said this before but Congrats to everyone that has been accepted! Also everyone that is waiting good luck! I also have to say thank god there’s such a thing as an ignore button on here

I thought it was 7% this year? In the article it says something about people graduating quicker creating more room. I I could be wrong, I quickly skimmed it haha

one of my advisors told me that seats are slowly dwindling every year for transfers, especially for 2 year colleges. anyone else heard this?
@BladesofGlory @supersaayan thank gooddddd mid to late may for moody rather than mid june! only a couple weeks away, we can do this. i’m at the point to where i don’t even want to post my stats because i don’t want to know the answer… i’m leaving it up to the admissions gods.
Does anyone know if Cockrell has sent out decisions for civil/ mechanical? I’ve only seen one ME acceptance and zero civil
I’m hoping that since we are still in review that it is a good sign. I’m looking at it as there was something in our applications which stood out, requiring further review.

God I really want to get accepted. Would you guys mind chancing me? I applied with a 3.779 GPA from a UT satellite school where I participated in the Student Senate and National Society of Leadership and Success. I wrote essays for A, C, and D and they were pretty strong.
