I think it is pathetic that a school would pretend that percentiles on the SSAT matter beyond admissions. And even for admissions, these scores are used wrongly, because they are interpreted wrong. Unlike the SAT or ACT (which have their own flaws), differences in percentiles within 20% have barely any meaning at all.
