<p>It was reported on KTLA morning news that the USC student was walking with two friends in an area known to be a “safe” part of off-campus. The assailant called out and there was a verbal altercation. The report said it may have involved insults to the student’s girlfriend. There was a scuffle to the ground and when the assailant ran off, the student discovered he’d been stabbed.</p>
<p>There is very little reliable information at this point, but this has been reported in L.A. so I thought I would pass it along.</p>
