Stamford Campus

No matter where you attend school, UConn or elsewhere, you can always choose not to participate in certain activities or lifestyles, just as you can choose TO participate in the same. Something to think about as you explore college options. I would also challenge you in your thinking that a place with “boring surroundings” (UConn-Storrs, specifically) would host a higher rate of drug and alcohol use than a “city school.” Check out the different locations, and see what you think. Or, check out the arrest statistics of each location. That will provide you with some statistical evidence, should you wish to identify it.

If you live in Connecticut, I would suggest visiting the Stamford campus. Any descriptions anyone gives on here are going to be limited. “Experiencing” the campus is going to help you the most.

In the meantime, I’m sure the regional campus site will be able to provide you with some information. But, again, the best thing to do would be to visit.
