I’d accept that Stamps scholarship…and decline the ED acceptance…which i can’t believe you didn’t do when you accepted the ED offer of admission.
How did you think you would be able to pay for JHU with NO aid…at all? Did you accept that admission offer? If so…time to withdraw and be realistic about your financial situation.
In addition, being a Stamps Scholar is quite an honor. Getting accepted to medical school is tied to GPA, and MCAT score, and your kid can certainly do that as a Stamps Scholar with no undergrad debt.
Remember too…that if she eventually goes to medical,school…the LAST thing she will need is huge debt from JHU…or anywhere else…because believe me…she will,have loans, loans, loans loans and more loans for medical school.
