Hey guys! Does anyone else not have their official SAT or ACT scores processed yet? I know it says to wait 2 weeks after the deadline for them the be processed but it is almost two weeks after jan 3 and my scores are still not processed… Anyone else have this problem? Thanks guys! Good luck to you all!
Hey – wondering… do all applicants get offered an interview? All 40,000 of us?
Hey guys my act or sat score reports have not been processed yet and it’s almost two weeks past the jan 3rd deadline- anyone else also have this problem? Also I forgot to self report my scores- do u think I should email admissions or should I just leave it as is? I don’t want to draw attention to it if I don’t have to- thanks guys!
Haven’t received my confirmation email either. Submitted the application on Jan 4.
I checked my application status on https://axess.sahr.stanford.edu and it suggests that my application hasn’t been loaded yet.
Should I contact them or should I wait longer?
If anyone else hasn’t received the email either, check the status on the link above. At least you’ll know if your application has been uploaded into their database or not.
^^No. Most do not. Most who get accepted did not (outside of the recruited athletes by virtue of their contacts with coaches). Interviews were started as a pilot program 3-4 years ago and are still in its roll-out phase. They don’t even offer interviews in the most populous state (California)…its home state.

My application hasn´t been loaded either… I think I´ll email them today: it´s been two weeks!
@123whatever Same here. I’m going to wait until the end of this week and then email them if I have not received a confirmation by that time.
@scarlett7 Do you mean Jan 3rd? That’s when the application was due. If it was actually submitted on the 4th, then it was after the deadline and they may not consider it (although if the common app allowed you to submit on the 4th, then I think you’d be fine )
In the email I received with the my app status, it says to wait “two weeks following the January 3 application deadline for materials that were sent separately to appear as having been received”. I’d probably contact them on Monday if you still haven’t received any confirmation. It also says that if anything is not processed after February 10th to fax it directly to them, so that’s the absolute last deadline for everything to be in. Of course, that’s just for additional materials. If your actual common app hasn’t been loaded yet, I think it’d be a good idea to call.
I haven’t received a confirmation email either, but I went to axess and it looks like my application has been processed since I was able to request an application status email, which I got 30 mins later…
I called them on 12th January they said wait for 3-4 more days. It’s 17th now and I still haven’t received a confirmation email.
I checked on Axess and it still says that my application isn’t loaded. :-/
I only came on this site after reading the “Neurotic Parent’s Guide to College Admissions”. Now, although I am a parent of a junior and I am “concerned” about my son’s college placement…it will be what is best for him in the end. I know he will be OK with whatever college HE chooses. He will be a legacy candidate, but after looking at how amazing some of the rejected candidates are, I know it is ultimately a crap shoot. He has secondary college choices that will serve him just as well and allow him to be closer to home which might be a good thing. In the end, I want to congratulate each and every one of you who have made the decision to even apply to Stanford. This is sort of like stepping in as back up quarterback for the team playing in the Super Bowl…the standby actor or actress that doesn’t ever think they will get their shot on Broadway…one steps into these moments and you make the most of it for you. You will come out of this a better person. It is important to do things that sometimes scare you in order to remind you that you are alive. Sometimes it really is, “Think big or go home!” No shame in thinking big for yourself. You went the extra mile to try for something that others don’t even reach for. Congrats to you for that! I will continue to check in on this post from time to time. My son won’t be applying early next fall as he is awaiting some score for National Merit and NHS. His SAT is somewhat in the pocket. It will come down to how he writes his essays, who reads them, what he does between now and then, and just dumb luck. Congrats to those of you who were accepted. Blessings to those of you deferred and rejected. As a woman who has lived a lifetime, I know heartache and know joy. This is just one step in the wonderful journey that will be your life!
I submitted on Jan. 2nd and haven’t received a email yet
If you just submitted, I believe the notification for any missing documents is mid-February. Notification of placement will take place April 1st. Good luck!
@lfpliber I had my interview this past Saturday, but I read in the alumnus’s email that not everybody gets one; they try to interview all applicants, but some regions don’t have any alumni and there are probably other reasons. Either way, not everybody does
In the “old days” if you wanted an interview, you pretty much had to travel to the mother ship.
the wait is killing me! it feels like april 1st is never going to come!!
@xiao97 i didn’t receive an email but i kept checking to see where my application had been processed onto the stanford online account thing and when i checked on saturday it had been
@ibbi1824 I think since your application has been processed, you should be getting an email soon. It is strange how they haven’t emailed you and your status shows on axess
Release date is April Fool’s? That’s sad
