Being an international student really sucks 
For waitlists, do they let you know about financial aid ahead of time or do you just find out if you’re (miraculously) accepted off the waitlist?

D got in, unbelievable---- gpa 4.35 , act 33, asian, got to all the UCs, NotreDame, but denied at JHU, NW, Vandy, deferred at Georgetown ( no sports, but supercompelling essays , local awards ). PRAISE GOD!!! Will definitely go!

@migagura I’m in the same boat, but I’m 99% sure I’ll go to Stanford. I think it helps that I got in early, so I’ve been dreaming about attending since December. Plus, all the people I’ve met on the FB group chat are amazing!
btw , D did not submit any subject tests but still got in (and failed 2 AP tests!!!)
I was eating lunch and decided to check my email and then Stanford’s email popped up and I screamed because I knew I was getting rejected but didnt prepare myself thinking the decisions will come out on the 1st then I checked my portal and screamed because I got rejected lol
