Stanford Class of 2023 Discussion

As an IT person, I’ll venture a guess that this is a glitch which makes the date change when the application is updated. It may be updated with a decision (whatever decision) or just the date last looked at by the AOs, it’s impossible to tell.

My date changed today to the date they actually received my score, which was 11/27. Up until today, it’s never changed from 12/02 which was when I submitted my app. Weird!

Yep just noticed my Sons Portal data change to 3/28/2019

My portal was no change until today. Its 11/06/18 which is weird cuz i submitted my app 1/01/19 LOL

And while the earlier last minute changes to today made me believe the “decision date” theory, the weird changes to dates last year are making me think it really might just be a glitch. This is the messiest wait for decisions ever lol

mine says 10/03/2018 which is weird because I wasn’t thinking of Stanford then ,just focused on my UC app

do we know when the decisions are released?

@girlmm00 tomorrow, 4PM PST

thank you @drumminggeek87

Honestly, I’m pretty sure for that rejection. Got rejected from all the Ivy Leagues I applied to.

My date changed today. I’m also 100% sure I’m getting rejected tomorrow. I got rejected from four of the ivies i applied to, and then waitlisted to Harvard. Doesn’t seem like Stanford-bound success to me

I was also rejected from HYP so yeah, I don’t think Stanford’s gonna accept me. ?

Rejected from Harvard and Yale, deferred REA from Stanford. Hoping Stanford comes in clutch tomorrow but if not everything will still be ok!

You guys please do not be discouraged. Those other institutions are not Stanford, there are many reasons why you could have been rejected, and whether or not you’re qualified was not one of them! Plus, I personally know 4 people who are attending/ graduated from Stanford and were also rejected from other Ivy League schools! You guys may be surprised!

Hello, my portal changed on 1st of March (International from China). Was rejected by UChicago, MIT, Caltech, Northwestern, Berkeley, HYP, Columbia.
So I think an early change without likely letter means rejection.
Stanford is my last hope in the US, will go to UK otherwise.

Rejected from 10 schools so far :frowning: hundreds of hours on apps gone. Can’t wait for Stanford to be number 11

I think the reason they look at test scores after rejecting, is for the purpose of collating and analyzing data.
Congrats no portal change/ late change kids, ya’ll are probably in!

What is your portal status?

@waterinthesink Did you apply to other schools? Do you have another option. Unfortunately, with each school receiving and average of 40-50k applications, rejections are more likely than acceptances, but I truly believe each student ends up where they belong. Praying for peace for everyone, and that you each find where you fit, and embrace it. Go be great, class of 2023!

@17yeargap I got into Villanova. Pretty excited about that
