<p>A cautionary word: double check with the Stanford admissions staff regarding applying to Michigan early. While it may have been ok with Stanford for REA applicants to apply early to Michigan in the past, I believe some posters this last fall found out it may no longer be permitted. (I may be misremembering 
) I would call Stanford Admissions and ask to be sure.</p>
