my daughter just got off waitlist too today. Hard to choose between Duke and Stanford premed
HOLY CRAP I CAN’T BELIEVE I GOT OFF THE WAITLIST I WAS SITTING ON MY TOILET AND WAS HALFWAY THROUGH MY BUSINESS. @idk2024 I’m also going to have to choose between Duke and Stanford :,)

Just got in! It was so unexpected. I’m from Pennsylvania and sent like 4 or 5 updates and kept in contact with my rep. Focus within my application was on communications and journalism but also a high interest in web development and other tech stuff. I guess all those updates where I was worried I was just annoying my rep paid off!
The acceptance letter says no deferring admission, which is what my current plan was so I’ll have to see how that works out but overall I’m just totally in shock. Currently enrolled at Northwestern but I expect I’ll withdraw and go to Stanford even though I can’t take a gap anymore.

I just got in!!! AHHHH. I also found out around 6. I had no idea I even got an email. I was in utter shock when I saw it and even more when I opened it to find out I got in! CONGRATS GUYS!
Hi everyone! I just made a college confidential account. I’ve never commented before but I’ve been watching this thread for forever.
I just found out that I got in off the waitlist! For me the email was sent at 7:21, but I didn’t check until later. The email doesn’t say anything other than that there was an “update to the portal”. Then once you check the portal the letter is in there.
Also, I’m so proud of everyone on this thread! Wherenever we go, we are all going to do awesome things. Congrats to everyone else who got in today too!!! <3
We need to respond to the offer on or before July 7, 2020.

Anyone else seeing “no award letters to view” for their financial aid
yeah yeah same @Purplemonkey243. I’m going to call them at 9:00 PST, but I’ve already gotten my estimated aid, so I’m assuming it’s just processing.
@huizihannie I don’t know about everyone else but I’m a domestic student from Illinois. I believe that the last waitlist release was for mostly California only students.
My admission counselor actually called me soon right after I received the email to congratulate me! I told her how I couldn’t see my financial award yet, so she told me she’s going to be asking and finding out as to when waitlist students will be able to view it. A bit of my information: California resident (LA), LatinX, and first gen student.
Did anyone get in from the northeast?
