<p>Just because you refuse to accept an answer to a question doesn’t make it not true. You can’t do Academic Renewal with a C. You can’t retake it at another school. If you do, The UCs will see it and will question you about it, and that whole process will almost certainly hurt your chances of admission in the long run.</p>
<p>The people reviewing your application aren’t stupid. They aren’t going to ignore or miss two classes with different course numbers with the same class title. It is literally their job to find people like you and deny them admission.</p>
<p>You can probably still get into UCLA if you explain the circumstances. They aren’t heartless. Except when it comes to those trying to cheat the academic system. </p>
<p>They tend to be ruthless when it comes to those cases.</p>
