<p>Any college course you take anywhere becomes part of your permanent academic record and you will have to live with it for the rest of your life. Academic renewal is usually reserved for students who received Ds and Fs and and can not be used to undo a C which is a perfectly acceptable passing grade.</p>
<p>The UCs use a website called the National Student Clearinghouse that obtains a list from nearly all colleges and universities in the country, including all CCCs, CSUs and UCs of any student who has ever attended thier institution to prevent applicants from doing what you are contemplating. Since attempting to hide previous coursework during the application process is considered a very serious act of academic dishonesty, if you are caught, which is very probable, you likely will be permanently barred from admission to all UCs and CSUs.</p>
