You can transfer if you think it’ll help, but your self will still go with you to the new school. If you don’t want to repeat the same pattern, you need to figure out why you got into this situation. Sometimes it’s true that people fall in with jerks, but at a “Top 25” school, there must be a large enough population to find someone who can be your friend.
