<p>dont worry venus. i confirmed with the admissions office that deferred students cant be waitlisted…so definitely start believing in whats to come, because its a flat out yes/no for us (which i actually am happy about). have confidence :)</p>

<p>im kinda curious about waitlist though. if you are waitlisted to penn, when do they notify you if they are going to take you? after may right, because they need to check matriculation? then, what happens if you already send **** in to another college? can you not accept penn’s offer? if you plan on getting in off the waitlist, do you basically have to risk not going to college to wait for penn to call you up? =/</p>
<p>No, you pay your $300 or so dollars for your second choice school and prepare to go there until you hear back from Penn. And if you get into Penn from the waitlist, then you just lose that $300 paid, but you’re not obligated to go to your second choice… so you can go to Penn!</p>
