Stereotypes and the NEW Chicago

<p>I agree with the general tenor of Cue7’s post though. The last three presidents collectively saved the university, and the current adminstration’s activist leadership will be vital to getting the school through these tough economic times. </p>

<p>Personally, I see the next major front for the college and graduate divisions being how to bring on board more subjects suited to the modern American knoweldge economy, and yet that don’t fizzle like computer science did (which went so far as to go on record and label itself an institutional mistep). An example would be to the recent attempts to created nationally reputed geographic information systems group, offering accessible yet rigorous courses to students from multiple disciplines.</p>
