<p>Hello, I’m currently writing my admission essays for NYU. I’ve pretty much have a good idea what to write for the last two essays. But the first essay, “Why NYU”, is leaving me somewhat stumped. </p>
<p>Heres the basis of my essays. Im currently in the Marine Corps, and am writing about how the Marine Corps turned me into a leader. But im having trouble connecting this to the question, Why NYU. I dont want to just outright answer why NYU, because it would seem like im just flattering them.</p>
<p>I could write how I want to become a leader in Business or something, but theres still the “Why NYU” factor, and not making it sound like im kissing their asses.</p>
<p>I pretty much have half the essay done, but not sure if I should just scrap it and pick a different topic for “Why NYU”. If you’re interested, care to read what I have so far?</p>
