Stern Undergraduate or Ross Undergraduate for Investment Banking

Which is better, Stern or Ross?

I got into both but I’m not sure which I want to go to

I personally think it would make sense that Stern would be better for wall street since its right there but I heard Ross is more chill and its easier to do well there. The average gpa at Ross is a 3.65 and the highest investment banking job interview cutoff is a 3.7, so it seems like it would be a lot easier to get into the better companies from Ross than Stern since the average gpa at stern is only a 3.4…

I also heard Stern is a ton of work and everyone there is really cutthroat and selfish. Is any of this true? It doesn’t sound too appealing.

Any information from current or past stern students would be appreciated. Thanks!

Where did you find the average GPAs?

Idk why everyone keeps saying that Wharton & Stern are so cutthroat. Yes Its competitive meaning that you have to put in the effort to do well. But as long as you reach out to people (friends, upperclassmen, professors, people are willing to help you out). Do more research into all that Stern offers you - it really really prepares you to do well post-college. If you want banking for sure Stern is the clear cut option.

I can assure you that a 3.6 at stern is definitely nowhere near as easy to get as a 3.6 at ross…

But then again… Macy’s, Ford and Target is on Ross’s top employers list… lol
