Since your son was a principal nominee, he should have received an appointment if he was triple qualified. Principal nominees only have to meet the minimum requirements to obtain an appointment. The ACT English score of 25 was probably the killer; that score translates to less than 600 on the SAT scale. Did your son receive a letter stating that he was scholastically qualified?</p>
