<p>A stocking tradition we started after the “Santa” years were done is including personal notes to each family member. Everyone writes a note to each of the other members of family of four. Content varies year to year… poems, year-in-review, love letters… generally simple but alway touching and a wonderful reminder of what’s truly important. I’m the sole stocking shopper and refuse to stuff my own stocking, so it’s nice to have something there! Actually, DH usually gives me tickets to a play or concert. I buy everyone candy, lottery tickets and other little things I encounter while shopping in December.</p>
