My daughter got in with low 90s, no test scores and only one AP so definitely don’t give up hope! They consider lots of things. Good luck and keep us posted!

hi, what major did your daughter apply to?
Sociology. So definitely one of the easier ones to get in with. I know CS was brutal admissions wise at SB in 2023.
But my SAT isn’t the best score (660 RW/650 M)=1310
I think it was in the middle 50% which is why I sent it

S25 OOS also waiting for Mech Eng. 3.43/3.8, 1450SAT, 7APs, decent EC’s including 150hrs plus of voluntary work and couple of sports (1yr/3yr) and few clubs. Hope he is accepted to give him some options. Any idea about how ME rating/rigor at Stony brook compared to others like UPITT, PSU (need to work to get into major), RIT , Rutgers (NB)- (accepted to these).
Actually nevermind, I completely forgot that I was deferred. I really wish they would put that on the application portal, it still says I’m considered for early action
