Ok, you have all convinced me. I have found Rigby and Peller an hour and forty minutes away. I guess I will plan a trip there when the weather is more trustworthy. Thank you all for your input. I have learned a lot. Maybe I need a trip to Europe…
Great points, bookreader! While we were burning our size 32AA bras, the Europeans were perfecting their fine art of bra making… Now our size 36F chests cannot fit into anything at VS
Wow, At 60 I wear a B cup or barely a C. I think I look balanced. I can’t even imagine the burden of F size.
I think I need to bow out of this thread.
But I do need to give a shout out to my reconstruction group (mp me if you want names) .
Dragonmom, that was a joke.
Consider yourself blessed, some aren’t so lucky… and it is not implants - it is the genes.
Bunsen, I know it was a joke. In my case It’s not implants, it’s post cancer reconstruction but balancing what mother gave me with middle age. I needed about a small C to match the right side.
Still in awe of ladies who struggle with big breasts. What a pain!
I would NOT have ordered my body in the shape it was received, but as @BunsenBurner, for many of us, it’s original equipment.
For some reason I don’t understand, US manufacturers don’t choose to make much of anything with small bands, and especially very little in small bands and larger than D cup. Some of us have been born with more but still have small rib cages.
D and my sisters have not worn the correct bra size most of their lives, but because for those whose cup sizes are smaller, it isn’t that much of an issue.
I was amused to see this thread directly below the “get it off your chest” thread.
