<p>While it might be intense at some other ivies, Yale has the reputation of being among the easy going (don’t know if I’d say laidback). There is a reason why Yale’s residential college system is appealing to many. Students love it and other institutions try their best to imitate. In particular, the college system provides a great multi-level support structure, which is especially important for internationals. Yale, of course, is not just another east coast school. </p>
<p>Of course, I can’t say a bad thing about Stanford. My neighbor kid who I guided this year is going to Stanford. He and I are delighted.</p>
