Most admitted students from our district were admitted to other top 20 schools as well so you can guess strength of their resume. Two were not top students but still had decent resume, they believe their biggest strength was demonstrated interest. They visited campus, emailed admission officers, made a video about school, wrote insightful essays, genuinely showed their interest and will to work for it.
