Students separated at lunch based on grades

Our school had two different lunch hours in three different cafeterias (and outside). I don’t think too many teammates sat together- I certainly didn’t sit with my teammates (I was a jock AP kid who sat with the goths/burnouts). Yes, in some ways they self-segregate but not as much as you’d think. Maybe in smaller schools but in my school cliques didn’t really exist. It was too big and there was too much overlap.

Agree with Ema- it would be pretty embarrassing to be segregated based on grades.

My high school tried something (and failed) called “collaboration days” where they either did a few hours of tutoring, etc one day a week OR the 2nd attempt was in the afternoon rather than morning. I don’t know if anyone was required to come but it was pretty much a complete failure.

They’re the tastiest!

If Swift didn’t have to account for them we don’t either ;)
