<p>I wonder if you would continue to use this awful language, despite having it carefully explained to you by more that one poster that the M word is equivalent in offensiveness to the N word, if your real name was posted next to your inappropriate remarks? Amazing how brave people can be when they get to hide behind anonymity. </p>
<p>Real courage would of course be to throw caution to the wind, give your real name when you post such things, and not worry about future admissions officers, employers, customers, private clubs, and the like. Instead of creating a permanent internet record for eternity which will hurt people’s feelings and fuel discrimination, you could instead create damage for yourself which would follow you forever. </p>
<p>Just an idea.</p>
<p>Even better, of course, would be to take a more mature path and “stuff” the pejorative remarks.</p>
