Study abroad Christmas gift

KINDLE PAPERWHITE or any other dedicated ereader!

I love gadgets but did not get a dedicated ereader until this summer. It’s now my all-time favorite gadget. It makes a difference reading on a Kindle vs. a tablet. And I find that having a book for plane flights and other travel (or reading before bed in a hostel) is just fantastic! I actually asked for Kindle as a gift specifically for travel, but I ended up falling in love with it and using it on a daily basis.

Also, I wanted to second a backpack.

I have been using this one as the one and only bag I take with me as luggage on all my trips: [Amazon.com: Teton Sports Scout 3400 Internal Frame Backpack (Hunter Green): Sports & Outdoors](http://www.amazon.com/Teton-Sports-Internal-Backpack-Hunter/dp/B000F34ZKS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385399810&sr=8-1&keywords=Teton)

It’s a little large as a carry on if you stuff it all the way, but perfect if you leave a little room at the top.

Son has the new Surface pro tablet so no need for kindle. Although, I can think of a few other people in our family that would like that! Nice backpack suggetion!
