<p>I basically have a study, but it looks like I’m taking a class. It’s called “Instrumental Techniques” and it involves 4 kids sitting in the band room and practicing music. However, I took the class with the implicit understanding that if I needed to do homework, I could do it.</p>
<p>We did have a time where students could just leave campus legally and come back when they had class. I guess it didn’t work out with the administration in the end because of safety issues, since the school is located in the downtown area.</p>
<p>Students can leave campus only if they have a reasonable excuse.</p>
<p>Study hall’s great…Esp. since I have it after AP Bio. (we have a rotating schedule, though). It’s a good mental break before trig.</p>
<p>Study halls are so wonderful. Last semester I only had one at 7th period so I went home early. Now I have two, one 4th prd and another 6th prd - so I get all my homework done at school, plus I can either a) nap b) knit c) go out to lunch early (leave during 4th). It’s very nice because I get almost 2 hours for lunch, plus I get back before everyone else and can park right next to the school rather than a block away.</p>
