Stylish Walking Shoes?

It sounds like p56 has the Toas sandal in Prize style .I thought they were really cute! At first I turned them down because the straps were not adjustable, but I’ll be darned they were… just very subtle.

To be honest, I’m still “carpet testing” my new sandals in case return is needed. The arch support is great. I’m still getting used to the extra support midfoot, but I think it will be a good thing. The local shoe store price was $99, minus $10 coupon. The salespeople were soooooo patient and helpful - that was great!

c-m - how interesting! I’ve never noticed they are adjustable until you mentioned it. The comfort comes from the suede lining and heavy padding as well as the rubber sole.

p56 - That’s funny. Perhaps when summer comes you’ll be able to use your sandals without socks and still get a snug fit by adjusting the velcro.

While at the shoe store, I also bought a pair of Jambu Lido (wedge mary jane) shoes of the sale rack. I had decided to return them, but I took them out of the box tonight for another try. They are not ideal for my upcoming May Med tour, but they are surprsingly comfortable
