<p>Playing cards with the Boston Red Sox on them. For food: “Boston Baked Beans” candy or Lobster lollipops. I like the syrup idea as well.</p>

<p>She has no idea about the people in the home she will be staying in. I think the school doesn’t want to tell the kids so that they and their parents won’t complain. She doesn’t even know if she will have internet access. </p>
<p>I think I will look for a smallish photo book, a tote bag :college or New England themed, dish towels, playing cards (boston themed), baseball cap and some small food item. If I run out of time, I will just go to the neighborhood gift shop and choose something pretty that is made in America. I am also thinking of ordering Make Way for Ducklings in Spanish.</p>
