suggestion for 7th grader.

@renaissancedad Thanks you so much for your suggestion. I will definetly look into davidson because i dont have the sat score. I might take SAT next year or psat just to get an idea. I will try the practice tests out this summer to get feel for test. I am in chorus, like to swim, play basketball, and run occasionally. I just wanted to have something productive done in summer as well.

Enjoy being a child. You only get that opportunity once in a lifetime. Going at the pace you are you may be setting yourself up for burnout. Many middle school children are recommended to take the ACT or SAT in the 7th grade but not obsessing about scores, ECs or how to navigate the college application process at 12 years old.

I apologize if i gave the appearences of someone OCD about score, I just perfer preemptive over procrastinate. I actually dont want to sacrifice my sleep in high school in trying to manage honor classes, EC and worry about SAT/ ACT. I just want to space it out evenly to lessen stress in high school. Thanks to everyone tor the suggestions.

Just wanted to point out that this case is a good example of why I try to discourage parents from pushing their kids into taking college admissions tests while they are in middle school.

Thanks everyone for valuable input. Just got my score. comp score of 30
Missed Bevans scholarship from duke tips program by 1 question in english also by 1 question in reading section. Although it was disappointing to put in effort and come up 1 question short, getting medals for state and grand recognition will ease the pain.
