<p>If somebody take 25 letter-graded 4-unit classes before you graduate, you would need 22 A’s and only 3 A-s to get the minimum for a 3.96. Avoiding getting more than two or three A-s in some many classes is very difficult even in easy majors where you can be the smartest person in them, so it’s not that surprising.</p>
