Summer B 2007 Students

Are the readiness assessment tests absolute prerequesites, or are advisors flexible about them?

MAC1147 is probably fine for summer B. Some of the stuff you might learn in precal, you dont use till calc 3 and only engineering, math, phsyics, and chemistry majors go that high.

Here are some pass 1147 test: http://grove.ufl.edu/~lwilli/mac1147_testans.html

Find out who your teacher is: http://www.math.ufl.edu/~frank/cgi-bin/schedule_csh.cgi?sem=sumb&yr=2007&submit=GET+LIST

2311 (I took it pre-kozinski with khuri): http://math.ufl.edu/~kozinski/MAC2311/MAC2311Home.html

Not strict. If you feel you are ready just tell them.

Who should i talk to about not taking MAC1140 or 1147 over the summer and just jumping into MAC2311 in the fall (also I didnt pass the readiness assestment but i’m in precal right now in hig school)?

I’m pretty sure you can totally change your schedule around right before Summer B starts. If anything, when you move to G’ville, talk to an adviser within your college and see what he/she says.

My link above had only the answers, here is the review of the material: http://grove.ufl.edu/~lwilli/mac1147_review.html

Yeah you can just change it on ISIS. If it says you dont have the prereq just email an adviser so they can remove the block preventing you from signing up.

So I can change my Summer B course schedule anytime or is there a date i have to wait until like the August 1 date for fall?

I can just e mail any advisor (even one not from my college) to remove the block if I have one?

If I am not blocked should i still noify an advisor?

How hard is statistics over the summer?

would you recommend stat over the summer or trig?
