I f-cking got into McCombs! 3.85 from Collin College, just finished my 30 hrs this semester. Amazing Essay, had lots of volunteer hours at church. I got a promotion at work and got a recommendation from my manager, also 1 from a professor and 1 from my computer science teacher in high school. I’m pumped AF! Congrats to everyone else, I’ve been following this thread for months!

It seems that nobody from PACE has been admitted to McCombs yet 
It’s so weird that they wouldn’t send out the decisions with other transfers
To those that have already been accepted, what orientations did you register for? I’m doing July 9-10. Would love to meet some of you there!

Seems like a good majority of people who applied to McCombs got in.
I got accepted to McCombs around 6:30pm with a 3.89 transfer gpa with around 40 hours and all prereqs completed before submitting my application in February, I also had strong essays and letters of req and a fair amount of extra curricular activities
I also attended Collin College! Im so glad I chose to go there right after high school. Saved me a ton of money and stress.
Congrats to everyone getting accepted to McCombs recently. I am traveling down to austin this weekend to try a find a place to live and get a feel for the campus. However I will be back for the July 10 orientation. Do yall have room for a communications student in the pow wow lol.

I had a financial aid question for those accepted… When I go under the “financial aid” tab under my status it tells me to check back in two weeks. When I go into the “cash” tab it says that I need to upgrade my UT eid through proof of identification. Does anyone know if I need to do this now in order to be awarded? or just before they send out the money?
@ecollin Yes. You need to upgrade your EID before you are awarded.
U need to upgrade ur EID and accept it before it’s cancelled , for me it’s 7/7/15 ,
