<p>I think most incoming freshmen will attend; part of the reasoning for that is the high number of orientation sessions throughout the summer. That seems to tell me USC expects many attendees. My Explore host told me that you don’t HAVE to attend (They will send you registration materials, etc. over the mail), but it’s a good way to get familiar with the school as well as meet your fellow students. I’m actually somewhat in the same dilemma, if I commit to USC. But maybe some current freshman/students can give us some input on what orientation is all about?</p>
