<p>While the deadline to apply is indeed May 1, applicants can and do hear of admissions decisions before then on a rolling basis. Thus, cawrd’s D could likely hear very soon.</p>
<p>One of my students last year applied to CMU pre college in mid Feb. and heard back during the first week of April, although by then had put down her deposit as required on Northwestern Cherubs, which is a similar scenario with one of my students this year who has put down the required deposit at Cherubs before the decision from CMU has come.</p>
