Thank you, hsmomstef

I personally believe that most middle school kids don’t know yet what they want to do in the future, so the best summer camp opportunity for them is something very local, commute and affordable just to check if the kid really likes this area of math/science/technology etc…
The best resources for this kind of camps are websites of local universities, museums, parks /nature centers, county and city authorities.

I have another thread concerning this site. It is a great new website for all sorts of programs and contests: http://www.cogito.org

I have no affiliation with them, just very impressed.

Hi,

CTY program requires SCAT score. My kid took SCAT test at school but report only shows percentile. Does any one has Converting Scale to figure out Quantitative score? I know a 6th grader got 490 which equals 93%ile.

Does any one has been invited to attend Grand Award Ceremony on 6/10/07 or State Awards Ceremony as for 6th grader, math>=480, Verbal >=470, will be qualified for State Award Ceremony. What score will be invited to Grand Award Ceremony?

Thanks a lot,
